Job Description:
The Production Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, tracking, picking, and restocking materials for the production lines using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate physical and system inventory movement, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting productivity goals and quality standards.

Job Description:
The Production Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, tracking, picking, and restocking materials for the production lines using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate physical and system inventory movement, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting productivity goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move, stack, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Verify materials against production documents and ERP System for accuracy and deficiencies.
- Pick, stage, and prepare production line for assembly.
- Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance issues as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse ERP systems and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- May be required to assist with assembly line as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior production or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP Systems.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Strong math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong ad hoc problem-solver.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [50–75] pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment for moderate durations.
Work Environment:
- Production Warehouse setting with minor exposure to varying temperatures.
- Moderate to loud noise levels.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
